Add/Remove Default Monitors

The monitors that are essential are associated to the devices by default. According to the Device types the monitoring templates associated gets varied. However you can add or remove the required monitor from the monitoring templates.

Add/Remove Default Monitors to Multiple Devices of the same Device Type
  1. Go to Network Monitoring-> Admin-> Monitoring Templates.
  2. Select the Monitoring Template to which you want to add or remove the default monitors.
  3. To add a default monitor Select the desired monitors listed on the Available Monitors window and move to Monitors Added to Template window. If you want to add any new monitor click on New Monitor   link available on Available Monitors window.

    or

    If you want to remove any default monitors associated, click the its corresponding delete icon in the Monitors Added to Template window.
  4. Modify Threshold Settings if necessary.
  5. Click Save.
The default monitors get associated or detached accordingly.

Add default monitors to multiple devices using Quick Configuration Wizard
  1. Go to Quick Configuration Wizard [Network Monitoring-> Admin].
  2. Select Add performance monitors to several devices options.
  3. Follow the above steps from 2 to 5.

Add Default Monitors to a single device
Consider the steps given below to add monitor(s) to a single device.
  1. Go to the device snapshot page.
  2. Click on Monitors tab.
  3. Click on the desired monitor category [Resource Monitors, Application Monitors etc.].
  4. Click on Add Monitor button.
  5. Select the desired monitor(s).
  6. Click on OK.
Remove Default Monitors from a single device
Consider the steps given below to remove monitor(s) from a single device.
  1. Go to the device snapshot page.
  2. Click on Monitors tab.
  3. Click on the desired monitor category [Resource Monitors, Application Monitors etc.].
  4. Select the desired monitor(s).
  5. Click on Remove button.
  6. Click on OK.
