When you send a CTRL+ALT+DEL command to the Vista machine from the Central Server via the Remote control viewer, the command does not work due the security features in Windows 2008 & Vista. To make the command get executed on remote Windows 2008 & Vista machines do the following configurations on those machines:

1)Enable UAC:
  1. Run MsConfig from Run Option.
  2. In System configuration Window, Click on the tools tab.

  3. Scroll down and locate "Enable UAP" or "Enable UAC" option item.Click on that line.
  4. A command prompt window will open & automatically execute and run certain process to Enable UAC.
  5. Close CMD window when done and Close MsConfig.
  6. Restart Computer for changes to apply.
2)Set the Policy :
  1. Run Gpedit.msc  from Run Option.

  2. Goto "Computer Configuration" -> "Admin Templates" -> "Windows Components" -> "Windows Logon Options".
  3. In Windows LogOn Option , double click "Disable or enable software Secure Attention Sequence".

  4. Select "Enabled" option and "Services and Ease of Access application".
