Categorize Service Requests

Requests that are attended by the technicians onsite are considered as Service Requests. Service gets initiated by Converting Requests as Service Requests
All the mails that are sent to Helpdesk Email ID are logged as requests. If the requests need to be attended by the technicians onsite, then they are converted as service requests. Consider the following steps to convert requests as service requests.
  1. Go to Helpdesk and Service Automation-> Requests page.
  2. Click on the request that you want to convert as a service request.
  3. Mouse over actions tab and click on Mark as Service Request. Service Request Schedule page opens.
  4. Configure the Service Request Schedule and click on Save.
Now the request has been converted into service request and is available under Service Requests page.
