Configure Trap Processor

Probe generate alerts from the SNMP traps that are initiated by the network elements. Probe listens for traps on the default port 162. Based on the trap processors that are defined, the traps are converted into meaningful alerts. Traps which are not identified by the trap processors remain as unsolicited traps. With MSP Center Plus you can configure the trap processors and create custom trap processors.

From Probe, go to Admin-> SNMP Trap Processors to view all the default trap processors that are available. Please find below the screen shot of the SNMP Trap Processors page. You can change the status (enable/disable), edit or delete the existing trap processors by clicking on the respective icons.
