How Tos > Disable Monitoring for Devices
Disabling Monitoring of Devices You can disable status monitoring of devices. Status monitoring checks whether the device is up or down. Once the status monitoring is disabled, MSP Center stops monitoring the status of the device alone. However, it monitors other parameters of the device like CPU, Memory, Disk utilization, etc. No alarms will not be raised if the devices go down. Disable monitoring for a single device
- From the Central web client, go to the device snapshot page.
- Click on Actions tab and select Monitoring.

- Deselect the check box "Enable Polling for this device".
- Click Ok.
Disable monitoring for multiple devices

- Deselect the check box of the device category for which you want to disable status monitoring. Example: If you deselect Desktop check box, then all the desktops managed by that Probe will not be monitored.
