Integrate NetFlow with MSP Center Plus

Integrate NetFlow with MSP Center Plus

The integration can only be seen on the MSP Central server and not on the Probes. Follow the steps below to integrate NetFlow with MSP Center Plus.

  1. Stop MSP Central server.
  2. Open the file serverparameters.conf [<central home>\conf].
  3. Change the parameter NETFLOW_INTEGRATION to true. By default it will be set as false.

  4. Start the MSP Central server.
  5. From Network Monitoring, click on Jump to tab and click on NetFlow. NetFlow window will pop up.


  6. Configure NetFlow server details by clicking on Click here to configure NetFlow Analyzer settings in the pop up window. Add-on/Product settings page opens.
  7. Enter the Server Name, Port, Polling intervals and click on Test Connection and Save button.


After integrating NetFlow with MSP Center Plus, check whether the integration is successful. Here are the steps:
  1. Jump to NetFlow. NetFlow UI should be displayed. If this happens, then the integration is successful.
  2. Then add a router in NetFlow as well as in MSP Center Plus.
  3. From MSP Center Plus open the snapshot page of the router that is newly added and open any interface.
  4. In the interface page the NetFlow icons are displayed.
  5. Clicking on the NetFlow icons opens the NetFlow details in a pop up.
