To Monitor Event Logs configure the event log rules. Also ensure that you have configured the correct WMI credentials for the device.

Configure Event Log rules for multiple devices
Here are the steps to configure event log rules for multiple devices:
  1. Open Quick Configuration Wizard [Network Monitoring-> Admin].
  2. Select Associate Event log rules to several devices option and click on Next.
  3. Select the Log File type and the event log Rule.
  4. Click on Next.
  5. From All devices box select the device(s) for which you want to associate the rule and move to Event Log associated devices box.
  6. Click on Finish.
Configure Event Log rules for a single device
You can also configure event log rules for a single device. Here are the steps:
  1. Go the device snapshot page [Network Monitoring-> Maps-> Infrastructure Views-> Device category and click on any windows device].
  2. Ensure that you have configured an administrator username and password for the device.
  3. Mouse over Actions tab and click on Event Log Rules. Event log rules window pops up.

  4. Select Monitor Event Log for this device option.
  5. Enter the Monitoring Interval period in terms of seconds.
  6. Select the required event log rule(s).
  7. Click on Save button.
