The following are the details about the time period by which OpManager
MSP would keep the data.
Performance Data - Traffic Monitors, Resource Monitors etc.,
- Raw data
(detailed statistics) will be maintained for 7 days.
- Daily
statistics will be maintained for 365 days
- Hourly
statistics will be maintained for 60 days.
Event data
- Event
data will be maintained for 30 days and data older than 30 days will be
deleted from the database.
Alarm data
- Maximum
number of alarms that can be maintained is 10000.
As far as the
probe is concerned, except raw data retention (which can be configured
through the configuration file) & the hourly data, all the other
above mentioned data retention attributes can be configured using the
Admin ---> Database Maintenance option of the Probe web interface.Â
For the central server, these attributes need to be configured/changed
in the configuration files and the Database Maintenance option is not
available in the central server web interface as of now.
