Editing Remote Control Agent Settings
  1. Click on the Edit Settings link. Remote Control Settings window opens.
  2. Select the Viewer Type based on the browser you use. This will be the default option chosen for the users and they can change as required.
  3. Select the check box Let users know that their desktop is shared if you want to indicate the users that you are controlling their desktop.
  4. By default, the Remote Connection uses a secured communication at port 8443. If you wish to change the port specify the port number that has to be used in the port field. If you wish not to use a secured communication, clear the Use Secure Connection check box and specify the port number to be used. Ensure that the port number specified here is kept open in the firewall.
  5. Select Enable Prompt option and specify the time to wait for user confirmation and the message to be displayed in the users' desktop. If the user do not confirm or decline within this time, the connection will not be established.
  6. Click Save Changes.
