Set Thresholds

Thresholds are conditions set on a monitor and when violated alerts the administrator. Thresholds are very helpful in proactive monitoring. MSP Center Plus can be configured to raise alerts if a service or a health check counter violates the threshold.

Configuring Thresholds for a single device
Thresholds have to be set for each monitor associated to the devices. Consider the following steps to set threshold limits for monitors.
  1. Go to the Device Snapshot page.
  2. Click on the edit icon that is corresponding to the monitor for which you want to set threshold limits.
  3. Configure the Threshold Alert and Rearm Value.
  4. Enter the number of Consecutive Times the threshold can be violated for which the alarm should not be raised.
  5. Click on Advanced button to change the Alarm Message and its Severity.
  6. Click OK.
Threshold alert has been configured.
