Tools - Network Monitoring
MSP Center Plus Network Monitoring agent has the following the tools. Quick Configuration Wizard This
option enables you perform configuration tasks on multiple device at a
single shot. The tasks that can be configured with this option are
- Assign/Remove a notification profile to/from several devices (Eg. Email Alert, SMS Alert etc.,)
- Add a new monitor to several devices (Eg. Traffic monitor,Service monitor)
- Associate Event log rules to several devices
- Configure Device Dependencies
- Categorize Servers and Desktops
- Specify a common SNMP community string for several devices
- Specify a common Username and Password for Windows / Linux / Solaris devices
- Delete devices
- Manage / Unmanage devices
- Associate a Device Type to several devices
Schedule Reports With
this option you can configure MSP Center Plus to deliver reports via
email at scheduled intervals. You can create, enable, disable or delete
a schedule.
Add a new Schedule
- Go to Network Monitoring-> Admin and click on Schedule Reports.
- Click on Add a new Schedule.
- Enter a Schedule name.
- Choose any of the following report type.
- Click on Next.
Device specific Availability reports
- In the Generate availability report page select any of the following
- Generate Availability Report to all devices in this Category
- Select the desired category.
- Select a period for availability report.
- Click on Next.
- Generate Availability Report to all devices in this Business View
- Select the desired Business view.
- Select a period for Availability Report.
- Click on Next.
- Generate Availability Report to all devices for this Customer
- Select the desired customer.
- Select a period for Availability Report.
- Click on Next.
- Manually Group Devices to generate Availability Report
- Select the desired devices from the Devices Available box and move to the Devices Selected box.
- Select a period for Availability Report.
- Click on Next.
- Select the Time at which the report should be generated on a Daily, Weekly or Monthly basis.
- In
the Report Delivery select either Send the report as attachment to** or
Publish the reports and send the url alone to and mention the email
address to which the report or the URL in which the report is published
should be sent.
- Check the schedule name, report type, Report
output format, Time & Delivery, Email Details and Selected Devices
and click on Submit.
Top N Reports / All Devices reports
- Select the count of the Top N Reports.
- Select the period.
- Select the desired report(s).
- Select
Generate Reports to all Devices in this Business View if you want to
generate reports for the devices that are in the selected business view.
- Select
Generate Reports to all Devices for this Customer if you want to
generate reports for the devices of the selected customer.
- Click on Next.
- Select the Time at which the report should be generated on a Daily, Weekly or Monthly basis.
- In
the Report Delivery select either Send the report as attachment to** or
Publish the reports and send the url alone to and mention the email
address to which the report or the URL in which the report is published
should be sent.
- Check the schedule name, report type, Report
output format, Time & Delivery, Email Details and Selected Devices
and click on Submit.
Custom Reports
- Select the period for which you want to generate the report.
- Select the customer whose report you want to generate. By default All Customers will be selected.
- Select
the desired devices and move to the other box. The devices for
selection will be available based on the customer name selected.
- Select the desired metrics.
- Select graph view as either Single series view or Multi series view.
- Click on Next.
- Select the Time at which the report should be generated on a Daily, Weekly or Monthly basis.
- In
the Report Delivery select either Send the report as attachment to** or
Publish the reports and send the url alone to and mention the email
address to which the report or the URL in which the report is published
should be sent.
- Check the schedule name, report type, Report
output format, Time & Delivery, Email Details and Selected Devices
and click on Submit.
The
created report schedules will be listed in the Report Scheduler Page [Network Monitoring-> Admin-> Schedule Reports] along with their status whether
enabled or disabled, schedule description and view report icon . You can select the desired schedule(s) and enable, disable or delete by clicking on Enable, Disable or Delete buttons. Click on view report icon to view the reports that have been generated. Reports will be available in PDF format.
